Saves are stored on your device only. Deleting the app deletes the save, and it can't be recovered. There is no cloud backup. You can copy a save code from Settings → Data before switching devices. Does it work offline? Yes. The game itself never needs a connection. The only thing that uses the network is the optional rewarded advert, described below — skip it and the app makes no requests at all. What happens while the app is closed? Your crew keeps delving. You'll get gold, XP and loot when you return, up to a capped number of hours. How deep does it go? 1000 floors across four biomes, then endless mode past that. Privacy Policy Last updated: August 2026 What I collect Nothing. I do not collect, receive, store or have any access to your personal data. There is no account, no login, no analytics, and no server. Your game progress is saved only on your own device. Adverts Torchfall shows one kind of advert, and only if you ask for it: a short rewarded video you may choose to watch after a run to double the gold you earned. There are no banners and no adverts that interrupt play. If you never tap that button, no advert is ever loaded. Those adverts are served by Google AdMob. When an advert loads, Google receives certain information from your device in order to deliver and measure it, which may include: Your device's advertising identifier Device type, operating system version and general device settings Approximate location derived from your IP address Whether the advert was shown, watched or closed This information goes to Google, not to me. I never see it. Google's handling of it is governed by their own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services Google Privacy Policy Personalised adverts Torchfall requests non-personalised adverts. It does not track you across other apps or websites, does not build an advertising profile of you, and never shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Children Torchfall is rated 4+. Advert content is restricted to a General audiences (G) rating, and no personalised advertising is requested for any user. Your choices You can limit ad tracking on your device at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising. Because I hold no data about you, there is nothing for me to export or delete — and deleting the app removes your save from your device.
